God laughs
Posted on March 6, 2011 by Rev. Esther R. Scott
Psa 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Psa 59:8 But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
Psa 37:13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
Pro 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
The craziest thing went through my mind right now. Last night I uploaded my picture of the cake that I made and was so proud of a while ago. The picture just brought back “good” memories. The thought came to me that I should post my baby to the group so you all can see it. Just then I thought, “you’ve already done that.” Then it hit me how some people that I know lie so badly that they would have posted it and called it a 2nd cake.
You know, those who lie and think that people cannot tell need to stop. I’m not hinting/signifying and nobody here has done it, it’s just a thought so no
one needs to go on the defensive here. That’s been happening to me a lot lately. Conviction of the Holy Ghost is really something isn’t it? God is good. Sometimes He hits us so hard with conviction that we SWARE someone said something on purpose.....just for us.
Those compulsive liars that I’ve known for years would post that cake and say it was their 2nd one as though no one could tell, insulting our intelligence. Any of you know anybody like that? I supposed people are not supposed to know that it is the same pic with the same lines in the cake, the same gold bracelet on the right, the same chess piece and the same thread on the left of the oven mitt.
Then it went through my mind how the bible says that God laughs. Can you imagine how He laughs when we do silly things? He probably sits on His Holy Throne, watching the things we do and just sits there shaking His Holy head, saying, “Oh my.”
Anyway, that was just a silly thought that went through my mind this morning as to how God’s children can act up and not think anything about it.
By the way....have you met my 2nd cake?
