I've come to the conclusion from personal matters that people always want you to take care of them in various ways, and give them things, but some REFUSE to help you to take care of your household. I had a lady that I thought that I was friends with for about 5+ years, talk very nasty to me because I was trying to offer her something for free. No payment due AT ALL….totally free. She turned me down as though I was offering her a free hit of crack. I made a video that I wanted her to watch and critique for me and she got it all wrong and said she watched it before and told me to 'quit asking her' which is not what I wanted to do in the first place. I thought that I could get an honest opinion out of her of what she thought about my take on a certain subject.
What gets me is the fact that for years, I signed up with her on her whirlwind events and thoughts and ideas. I even drank some kind of shake that she had sent to my house. It could have been poison but I trusted and used it …. once. Afterwards, she tells me that I would have to pay $49 a month to be in the program. I refused.
What about you? Have you ever had people treat you as though you were bothering their precious privacy and all you wanted to do was to bless them?

I went to a laundrymat today and the lady that works there is a sweet lady. Her husband died 3 years ago and she misses him badly.
She found out that I was a preacher and she always asks me questions when I am there. I told her something today that comforted her
and she hugged me and kissed me three times. Of course, I now smell like her perfume. Lol.
Problem, she was so grateful that at some point, when I took my clothes out of the dryer, she reached down to help me fold them.
YIKES! I am the type to do my own clothes. I don't like people doing my clothes for me, especially my undies. I fanned my hands as
nicely as I could and said, "Oh! I'll do that! Thank you!"
Was I being mean? I feel so bad. :/

People are drawn to you according to your compassion with others. Jesus was known for His compassion. Many times in the bible it is written about how He was moved to compassion.
Compassion for the Multitude: Matt 9:36, 14:14 and 15:32
And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
Could it be that some aren't getting healed of their illnesses due to the lack of compassion of the one who is allegedly praying for them? Do we carry titles but no power behind them? In days and times like these, we should know when to cut a joke and when to be serious. Today, everybody wants to be a comedian and crack jokes to the expense of others. If we stop the jokes about them, people will get healed. If the sick multitude came to you would you believe God for their healing or crack a joke and laugh at them and write them off?
Compassion for the unfortunate: Matthew 20:34
So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
Are others blind because their leaders are?
Compassion for Jerusalem: Matthew 23:37
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Have we gotten to the point where we are serving 'favorites' instead of accepting all whom God has sent to us? Some of us are rebuking the true prophets and welcoming the tare because the tare have better clothes, purses, shoes, houses, cars, and bank accounts. Have we gotten so worldly that we look like the World anymore and cannot recognize it within our own souls? True believers can. We are still attempting to separate. There are no 'elites' in the Body of Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
Compassion for the Leper. Mark 1:41
41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
Are people omitted from various activities because of their appearance? Have we written them off because they don't have 'creamy' skin, or full, white teeth? Does their age bother you? #Partiality If we are partial, we will only receive partial. #HalfGlassMentality
Compassion for the Bereaved. Luke 7:13, John 11:35
13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.
Do we have so much compassion on the bereaved that we take out the time to let God have His way? Or do we preach, sing, bury them and "call-it-a-day"?
It is all about compassion. We should all do a compassion-check now and then. To be a follower of Christ we must be like Christ.
sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others: the victims should be treated with compassion.
ORIGIN Middle English: via Old French from ecclesiastical Latin compassio(n-), from compati 'suffer with.'
